Throat Tickle

It is the tickle in the back of your throat

the one that you feel right before a cold comes on

the tickle that is sort of like an itch,

an itch you want to swallow,

try to swallow it down to the bile in your stomach

but no matter how many times you try

the itchy tickle remains

you drink a cup of tea to soothe

hope that will help

beg it to help

no one wants to get sick

or be sick
