Finding Joy and Peace During This Busy Time of Year
It is sort of ironic, that a holiday meant to celebrate giving and kindness can bring out the worst in people. People are in a hurry, angry, greedy, just trying to get by, and seem to think they are the most important ones worried and rushing. The same practices from the rest of the year apply and are arguable needed more. Deep breaths, patience, kindness; whatever you do to remain calm. Stores are busier, the post office has longer lines, people are traveling, and again just taking a moment to remember each other’s humanity can go a long way. And there is time; time to write, time to see friends, time to celebrate, and time to have a cup of tea. Cheers!
