Anticipation of the Journey

The anticipation begins when the seed is planted. We were given dates about a year ago and have been saving money ever since. Booked the flight a few months ago and then it became more real. The excitement set in. Emails full of plans and details began to fly around. Dresses were bought, housing arranged, plans locked in, and then of course some things changed.

Today I fly across the pond with my love to go to one of my best friend’s wedding. Even with as much planning as there has been, it is important to show up to what is there each moment and be flexible. Nothing ever seems to go entirely according to plan anyway. Even when we arrive at our destination, we are still on the journey.
